Gelatin molds are a tasty addition to any meal.They're also a light and refreshing dessert.
Fuzzy Navel Party Mold
2 (4-serving-size) packages of orange gelatin 1 cup of boiling water 2 (15-oz.) cans of peaches in juice, drained and reserved 1/2 a cup of the liquid 3 cups of sour cream
1.) In a large bowl, combine gelatin and boiling water; stir until gelatin is dissolved.
2.) Stir in the reserved peach liquid, and set aside.
3.) In a blender, combine the peaches and sour cream, and blend until smooth. Add this to the gelatin mixture; mix well.
4.) Pour mixture into a 2-quart serving gelatin mold, or large serving bowl, and cover.
5.) Refrigerate for 8 hours, or until firm.
6.) When ready to serve, immerse bottom of gelatin mold in warm water for a few seconds, then invert onto a flat serving plate and release from the gelatin mold.
7.) Serve immediatly, or refrigerate until ready to serve.
