This is my all-time "favorite" scalloped potato recipe!
Scalloped Potatoes With Bacon
10 slices of bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled 5 cups peeled and thinly sliced russet potatoes 1/2 cup chopped onion 4 Tablespoons of flour, divided 1 teaspoon of salt, divided 1/2 teaspoon of pepper, divided 4 Tablespoons of butter 2 cups of whole milk
1.) Preheat oven to 350°F.
2.) Grease the inside of a 2-quart casserole baking dish.
3.) Place half of the potatoes and onion inside the baking dish.
4.) Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of flour, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of pepper over the potatoes.
5.) Top the potatoes with half the crumbled bacon.
6.) Repeat layers with remaining potatoes, onion, flour, salt, pepper, and bacon.
7.) In a saucepan, add the 4 tablespoons of butter and the milk. Heat milk until warm, but do not let it boil.
8.) Pour the warm milk over the top of the potato mixture.
9.) Cover baking dish and bake in the oven for 1 hour.
10.) Serve potatoes immediately. But be careful as they are quite hot.
11.) Yields: 5 to 6 Servings

That looks real good. I think I would throw some sharp cheddar cheese in there too! 😃
