or as my sister calls them... "the devil's eggs"! love 'em or hate 'em? honestly, if you hate them... what's wrong with you?? nephew's great comment... how can something that smells like farts taste so good? they do take a little time, but are well worth it. I like the yolks a tad dry... at least not wet... maybe stiff would be a better descriptor. I like mostly mustard in the yolk mix... maybe a touch of mayo if a little too stiff. i'm liberal with the paprika... prefer smoked paprika. Julia Child made something she called "stuffed eggs"... included a generous blob of butter in the yolk mix. I like a glugs of hot sauce or blob or horseradish or wad of wasabi. please take notice of my highly technical culinary vocabulary! if... and I do mean IF there are any left-overs (highly unlikely)... those cute little Hawaiian slider buns were made for them. a deviled egg smooshed in one of those is a perfect snack. two make a good lunch. so share your deviled egg expertise... please!

Love 'em. I make mine very simply. I take out the yolks, and mix it with some mustard, salt/pepper, pickle juice, and then sprinkle with paprika.

I never knew that about the pickle powder. I've been wanting to try the deep fried pickles. I think some restaurants sell them now.

I love them too! I use half real mayo and half miracle whip and then a little bit of horse radish. Then I put paprkia on top of them. Thanks for the bag trick niftiness!
