I could live off of this stuff! Unfortunately nobosy carries it up here in northern Michigan anymore that I am aware of? Have you ever tried it?

i LOVE it! it has to be sliced paper thin. never pre-sliced. popular brands here in the Philly/NJ area... Setzers & Weavers. comes in a sweet and regular variety. i prefer the regular kind. it's similar to summer sausage.
for me the ONLY condiment that goes with is mustard... any kind of mustard.
it's expensive compared to many of the other lunch meat choices... like $10-12/lb!
try spreading cream cheese on slices and rolling up into "cigars".

I don't think I've ever seen it around here before, but I'll look for it. It kinda looks like cotto salami.
I checked Walmart and they have it in snack sticks.

Oh God, I have to find this somewhere or order it online! my sister drove up to NJ from NC 2 weeks ago. unfortunately it was to attend memorial service for our brother's wife. since she was in the area, she had some shopping to do here in NJ. she handed me a wad of money as we were headed to one of the FOUR marijuana dispensaries in the small town near by. then we had to go to ShopRite to buy Taylor pork roll. |
