do you have/use one? I'm not a big tea drinker, but will have one from time to time.
growing up my grandmother (tea drinker) always had a whitling kettle on her stove. we usually did, too.
when microwave ovens came into town, that changed everything. I don't cook much in microwave... mostly heating stuff up.
if I was making iced tea, would be starting with tea bags. i't pull out a big glass/Pyrex measuring cup and boil water to steep the tea bags in.
have had a few cute tea kettles over the year but now have an empty burner to use for something else.

We still have one. We use it to make our coffee and tea.
