Malls were so fun back in the 80s! It's kind of sad to see them go. Just like the Drive-In movie theatres. 😞

I think the number one reason is correct. So convenient to buy things online. But it seems for now there are still young people who enjoy shopping with their friends as a group, will shop at Old Navy or Hot Topic or the latest teen favorite at larger malls, have a snack, and bring all their buys home the same day. Enjoyed reading, SafeInSanity. I think safety concerns may be an issue also. I know it would be for me. Any place with a lot of people gathering in big crowds could be a target for terrorist attacks. I hate to see that America has come to this, but sadly it has.
