She just got back from the store with two porterhouse steaks and a bag of salad. (with hard boiled eggs) I'm having mine with sauteed mushrooms and onions. Probably open a can of bushes beans to have with the steaks.

Just to let you know that picture is not how we make ours. We NEVER make steaks in a skillet. Always on either a gas or charcoal grill. But that's what my steak will look like on my plate.

Just had a chicken breast made on my charcoal grill with more of those Bush's beans I pictured before. So good. I had it with this kind of BBQ sauce.

That's good barbecue sauce, sandman ! Not positive but I think it won best barbecue sauce 3 years in a row when that had barbecue sauce contests someplace in California. Save a Lot carries a generic version called Kurtz Sweet & Spicy that I buy all the time. It is my favorite one. I used to like their Kansas style one too but I guess they stopped making it because they haven't stocked it for 3 years now. |
