The best way is to make them yourself. My aunt makes them so good! and i bet SHE makes it look really easy to do, right?! i see pierogies as a "big" food... ya can't just make enough for 2 servings. i'm picturing my attempt ... a kitchen with flour EVERYWHERE. trays full of mutant potato pockets staring at me. taste-wise NOT a fail... just not pretty. kinda like my tries at cabbage rolls or tamales. with NJ being the most densely populated state, there must be a lot of pierogi people living here. my thought is there must be some cute little specialty store that sells real hand-made pierogies. my quest is now to find that place!

They can't be hard to make because you make them by hand. You don't need any special tools like you do for making ravioli. niftiness,
