I log soggy bacon and crispy bacon. It is good to change it up Yeah, it's all good once in a while! 😁 SafeInSanity, emily, kerri,@justbec, Webster, Domestic Goddess,
You all should try this. When making bacon make the whole package. It takes a little time but its worth it. When the first batch is done set it on a paper towel and add more bacon till you make it all. What you don't eat when it cools put it in a sip lock bag and put in frig. Its good cold as a snack or just add a couple slices to eggs when your making them. But do not throw the bacon grease away. Put it in a bowl and when cool put it in the refrigerator. Then when we want fried potatoes we will use some of the bacon grease to fry them in. So good.

I have a special little metal pitcher with a strainer on top. Pour my bacon grease in it then either scoop it out or heat the pitcher and pour it out

That looks so good, sandman. I don't make bacon very often. When I do, I don't save the bacon grease or cook anything in bacon grease. I bet it tastes delicious, though!

That looks so good, sandman . I don't make bacon very often. When I do, I don't save the bacon grease or cook anything in bacon grease. I bet it tastes delicious, though! Try this the next time you make bacon. When the bacon is done set aside. Drain most but not all the grease. Then instead of butter fry or scramble your eggs in the bacon grease.
